Alexandria, VA – The American Conservative Union (ACU) today announced its endorsement of Jody Hice for Secretary of State in Georgia.

“Jody Hice is an accomplished conservative Congressman and would be an excellent Secretary of State for Georgia,” said ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp. “Over his six years of service in Congress, Rep. Hice has consistently ranked among the top of his peers in conservative excellence, earning a remarkable 98% ACUF Lifetime rating. On top of this, Rep. Hice understands the necessity to have both free and fair elections to ensure the integrity of our democratic process. With such a proven record, it is clear that Jody is the right person to renew Georgia voters’ faith in their election system. Having witnessed the election wrongdoing and failure to verify signatures, I know Georgia needs a fighter. I am proud to stand with Jody Hice. We at ACU are pleased to support Congressman Hice’s candidacy and call on all Georgians to vote for him in 2022.”

Founded in 1964, the American Conservative Union (ACU) is the nation’s original conservative organization. For more than fifty years, ACU has served as an umbrella organization harnessing the collective strength of conservative organizations fighting for Americans who are concerned with liberty, personal responsibility, traditional values, and strong national defense. As one of America’s premier conservative voices, ACU promotes a conservative vision on issues before Congress, the Executive Branch, State Legislatures, the media, political candidates, and the public.
