The American Conservative Union has been grading members on their votes on key conservative issues so that American's can quickly see who in Congress is upholding conservative ideas and values for over 40 years.
The American Conservative Union said although Congressman Rick Nolan says his goal is to “expand the middle class,” his record in Congress shows he would do just the opposite. ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp says that Nolan’s ACU rating of “8” out of “100” means he has voted with the Obama high tax regulatory agenda 92 percent of the time.
The American Conservative Union says that while Congressman Bill Keating claims to “protect and promote” small businesses in Massachusetts, his record shows he has done just the opposite. ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp said Keating’s ACU lifetime rating of “5” out of “100” means he has supported the anti-small business tax and regulatory agenda of the Obama Administration 95 percent of the time.
The American Conservative Union says that while Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty claims to be opposed to “irresponsible spending and borrowing,” her record shows otherwise. ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp said Esty’s ACU rating of “8” out of “100” for 2013 shows she has voted for the big spending, budget busting Obama agenda 92 percent of the time.
